I took a chance on this untested Hercules Steel because of the price. The steel casing is indeed durable—it feels much sturdier than plastic controllers. The jog wheels and controls are basic but functional for simple mixing. However, since it's untested, expect potential issues—mine had a sticky fader out of the box. It's compatible with Virtual DJ, but the included software is an older version (3 DJC Edition), so you'll likely want to upgrade. For $50, if you're handy with repairs, it could be a steal, but otherwise it's a gamble. Compact size is great for travel.
