About this product
The DJ-Tech 4MIX is a 2-deck controller (despite its name) with 16 pads, a built-in audio interface, and Virtual DJ LE software. It has 2 line inputs, 2 phono inputs, 2 mic inputs, and RCA output. Features include echo effects, auto BPM, and 16-bit/44.1 kHz sampling. Tabletop form factor with 1U rack height. Priced at $199.95.
Our take
The 4MIX is a bit of a misnomer—it's actually a 2-deck controller, not 4-channel. But for $200, you get 16 pads, a built-in audio interface, and Virtual DJ LE. The 2 mic inputs and 2 phono inputs are great for mixing vinyl and mics. The 16-bit/44.1 kHz sampling is dated, but acceptable for beginner use. The build feels typical of DJ-Tech: functional but not premium. If you need multiple inputs on a budget, this could work, but the specs show its age.
